Zidane was walking through the streets of Dublin, Inquiring into the local hospitals and checking on some of the more serious patients. One of the few things he did outside of his job as the Mutant Registration head was to deliver some much needed hope in times of need. Healing some people who otherwise would of been lost to the void of afterlifes they chose. But when he was around he would make sure that they lived a little longer. Cancer was a thing of the past to him. But tonight was different. He'd been avoiding the hospitals. Trying to figure out where the trail that his investigators had turned up went cold. Even with all the information he had available to him. The picture was still a vast blank and he hoped to fill it in and bring this latest discovery in for registration.

James had taken a flight to Ireland in order to meet with some contacts. A small group of mutants she had met a few years ago wanted an update on her progress and she was certain that she could convince them to give her come blood and skin samples. However it hadn't gone as smoothly as she had imagined and James was currently running through the streets of Dublin taking whatever turns her brain though suitable to lead her away from the group. What had they expected from her? She was working as fast as she could but there was no way she could have produced something after everything that had happened in China.
As she stepped onto the road the sound of something behind her caused her to turn her head. The next few things happened too quickly. A car sped down the road and the impact hit her sending her up in the air slightly before it continued off down the road. James hit the road, hard.

Zidane heard the noise of the speeding car and turned to try and gesture at them to slow down. His eyes widened slightly as he saw the woman in the street. He opened his mouth to shout a warning but it was too late. She flipped up over the car and landed behind it hard. The car continuing it's hellish speed to get away from the scene as he moved toward her. He couldn't quite grasp the fact that it was a hit and run and as he approached her. He started to pull his gloves off, tucking them into his pocket as he approached the motionless woman. Hoping he wasn't too late he placed a hand on her arm as he started to work his power into motion.

She lay on the road for a few seconds letting her body scream at her before she realised what she needed to do. Someone had come out onto the road and was next to her. As she felt the hand touch her she slowly opened her eyes, sticky with blood from the cut along the side of her face. "Don't touch me." James groaned at him. The cut that had been bleeding began to close up very slowly and James tried to understand just how bad the damage was. She didn't want to move until she knew if it would make the damage worse or not. What she really needed was for him to leave so she could sort herself out and disappear. This day and age there was no one you could trust.

Zidane stopped her from moving with a hand pressing gently to her shoulder. "If you move I can't make sure you are fully healed." he said simply. "I'm just glad you weren't dead. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to do this much." he said simply as he continued to use his gift to heal her. What was slightly startling to him was the fact that the wounds he hadn't been attempting to heal were closing up. "Are you a mutant?" he asked slightly shocked. Maybe his target had fallen into his lap instead of him having to hunt her down.

His hand was pressing gently but she hissed in pain. Maybe it would have been easier to just give up. If there was a Lord he had a twisted sense of humour and James did not appreciate it. Her blue eyes darted around the scene to see if anyone else was around and was glad to see it was just the two of them. Now if he could just leave none of this needed to be repeated to anyone. James could feel pain subsiding that she was not targeting and narrowed her eyes at the man. "Are you?" she batted the questions back at him casually. James set to work on her collarbone which had caused her to hiss in pain at him in the first place.

He watched her reaction an chuckled softly. "Quite Possibly." he said as he continued to work on her collarbone. "The only one that has the power I do at any rate." he said as he finished. He started to stand again, brushing the dirt from his legs as he did so. "At least that I knew of." he said simply as he offered her a hand up. "Names Zidane." He said simply as he looked at her. "Did you happen to catch the license plate as you were in air?" he asked her curiously.

Her collarbone had finished healing and the cuts had been healed. He rose from the ground and offered a hand and she took it cautiously before getting up as if nothing had ever happened. James rolled her shoulders and glanced around again. "Nice to meet you Zidane. Thank you for your help." James purposely avoided introducing herself. "No I didn't." James brushed herself down and moved off the road. "Speed reading is not one of my talents."

Zidane nodded quickly. He'd noticed her lack of response for her name. "Well, I was hoping you might of caught it, Would make it easier to track them down later." He said as he started to glance back down at her. He was curious about his young woman. It wasn't every day he met another mutant. And having her just as easily deflect his questions had him thinking about possibly offering her a job. It seemed like a second nature to her to avoid the questions she didn't want to answer and having the regeneration would make her a potent ally in the future. "So after you regenerate do you need any food or drink to replace the energy you use? Or is it just a reflex sort of thing?" he asked.
